The  4 day itinerary to explore the southern desert of Morocco, created by our team for give more time to discover the authantic morocco and reaching at the famous kasbahs and valleys , Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect to see and do on each day on your desert tours  starting from Marrakech:

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kelaa M’gouna – Dades Gorges

Depart from Marrakech in the morning and travel to Ouarzazate, a city known as the “door to the desert”.

Stop at Skoura, a beautiful oasis known for its palm groves and Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved 17th-century fortified village.

Continue the journey to Kelaa M’gouna, also known as the “Valley of Roses”, famous for its rose water and annual festival.

End the day at Dades Gorges, a stunning geological formation known for its red sandstone cliffs and scenic views.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

Depart from Dades Gorges and travel to Tinghir, a town known for its lush greenery and traditional adobe homes.

Explore Todra Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons with towering cliffs up to 300 meters high.

Continue the journey to Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil workshops and factories.

Arrive at Merzouga, a small village at the edge of the Sahara Desert, where you can enjoy a camel ride and experience the beauty of the desert sunset.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Agdez

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the largest dune field in Morocco.

Depart from Merzouga and travel to Rissani, the former capital of the Alaouite dynasty and a center of traditional Berber culture.

Continue to Alnif, a small town known for its fossils and prehistoric rock carvings.

Visit Tazarine, a small oasis town known for its dates and traditional pottery.

End the day at Agdez, a charming town with a beautiful kasbah and a traditional souk.

Day 4: Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Depart from Agdez to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou , a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular filming location.

Drive back to Marrakech, passing through the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, with breathtaking views of the valleys and Berber villages.

Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
